부천 판타스틱 영화제에 지난 일요일에 다녀왔다. 마지막 날이라 그런지 사람들이 꽤 있었다. 예매한 영화는 '그들 사이의 기적'이라는 제목으로, 한국만화박물관에서 4시 상영이었다. 그 전에 주완이가 더빙한 블랙아이스 VR을 체험할 계획이었는데, 예매를 하지 않았기 때문에 노쇼시에만 허용이 된단다. 예약자가 나타나기까지 15분의 유휴시간이 사이사이 주어졌지만 (1) VR 기기와 (2) 해드셋과 (3) 모션센서를 시험삼아 감히 착용해보기가 쑥스러웠다. 보그단 조지 아페트리 감독은 루마니아 태생의 미국인이다. 원제는 기적(miracle)이었고, 어떤 내용인지 따로 찾아보거나 제목에 대해 깊게 생각하지는 않았다. 헝가리에서 만든 '사울의 아들'과 비슷한 카메라 기법이 쓰였다. 주인공 얼굴이 화면에서 50%이상 차..

돈룩업을 보았다. 인터넷으로 쇼핑을 많이하는 막내고모는 여러 이벤트에 응모할 기회도 많으신 것 같다. 각종 영화나 전시회 티켓에 잘 당첨되시는데 바깥 외출은 별로 좋아하지 않으신다. 일년에 어김없이 두세번씩 당첨된 것들은 늘 나에게 넘겨주신다. 어쩌면 나를 위해 응모하시는가 싶을 정도로 많은 횟수다. 이번 영화 돈룩업도 그렇게 내가 가게 되었다. 무료로 가게 되는 행사들은 보통 특징이 있다. 정보가 부족하기 때문에 어느 정도 가격과 만족도를 얻게 될지 알 수 없다. 딱히 내가 꼼꼼하게 따지고 찾아보는 성격도 아니다. 그저 아는 사람과 같이 좋은 시간을 보내고 오기엔 적당하겠지, 특히 전시나 영화관람은 기분전환을 위해 내가 종종 하는 활동들이니 시간이 아깝지 않을 것이라 생각하며 다녀오곤 한다. 돈룩업은 ..
