• go around/round in circle: to do something for a long time without achieving any results because you always return to the same problem that you cannot solve
• a gridlock: a situation in which it is impossible to make progress
• bring/take something to next level
• tie the knot
• milktoast:  a timid, meek, bland, soft, submissive or unassertive person

In light of the movie Do-ga-ni, which illuminates the struggle agianst sexual assaults and forced labor on the most vulnerable, the disabled children, it is still alive in our modern society. As these harrowing tales of depravity by some villans have now come to the fore, we, as the whole nation, must step in and make sure these will not happen in the future to reinvent ourselves. 

• harrowing (tales): extremely worrying, upsetting, or frightening
• in light of something : drawing knowledge or information from; taking (something) into consideration.
  e.g. the exorbitant prices are explainable in light of the facts
• (come) to the fore: in or to a conspicuous or leading position.
  e.g. his persistent effort brought this issue to the fore
• depravity: behaviour that is immoral or evil

The Jeju island, notorious for a famous exile destination to those who committed treasons, now reinvent itself as one of the most popular tourists attractions. And besides, its obvious beatuy and mild weather with its close proximity from metropolice, make it an appealing spot for a quick get away where people don't need to navigate the congested street in a concrete jungle like Seoul, especially to those who just want to get away from it all for a few days. 

• get away from it all: If you get away from it all, you have a holiday in a place that is very different from where you normally live and work.
• a quick getaway: e.g. a quick getaway destination
